THIS WEEK’S POST PROMPT:

GIVE A FUNNY BLURB TO A BOOK THAT WILL “TICKLE” THOSE WHO HAVEN’T READ THE BOOK YET.

Oy. Humor on demand? Not so good at that! Bear with me.

A stubborn nurse just home from a world war accompanies her weenie husband for a delayed honeymoon on an occupied island north of England. While picking flowers alone on a strange hill, she falls into a rock. Waking up 200 years in the past and barely escaping being raped (by the utterly NOT weenie ancestor of her husband), 5 minutes later she falls in love with a barely-legal, filthy virgin redheaded man in a skirt. Due to convenient coincidences terrible circumstances beyond their control, they are “forced” to get married (is she a bigamist if her first husband hasn’t been born yet?), and despite a pretty unending string of rotten luck, have incredibly hot sex live mostly, sort-of happily ever after.

Can you guess the identity of this world-wide classic?

    • Heehee! I’m so glad you got it! Even though I’m a PNR/UF girl, Outlander has been my very FAVORITE book series for almost 25 years.

      I mock because I love. *G*

      Thank you for the follow!
